William Ervin Sullivan

Mr. Sullivan was born, July 7, 1940 in Caldwell County. He was preceded in death by his father, Clem Ervin Sullivan.

He was a member of Refuge Baptist Church and Unifour Trail Bike Club.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Sullivan, mother, Hazel Shell Sullivan; two sons, Michael E. and wife Carol C. Sullivan of Rutherfordton, NC, Robert E. Sullivan of Granite Falls, NC; two sisters, Carolyn Craig and Audry Young; three grandchildren, Brittany Dinola, Taylor Sullivan and Christian Sullivan.

A funeral service will be held for Mr. Sullivan, Friday, February 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Refuge Baptist Church in Hudson with Reverend Jerry Woodie and Reverend Tim Suter officiating. The body will lie in state thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends, Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pendry’s Funeral Home in Lenoir.

Pallbearers will be Dr. Frank Mauldin, Brian Clark, Joe Seagle, Roy Craig, Matt Pullano, and Lynx Cannon.
