

Kenneth Orich beloved husband of Patricia of Coalhurst, Alberta passed away suddenly on November 20, 2007, at the age of 57 years. Ken is the loving father of Jackie Bodker of Edmonton, Bryan (Darcy) Orich of Medicine Hat, and Brent (Kim) Orich of Coalhurst; and the loving grand-father to 8 grandchildren. Ken is also survived by Brothers Eugene (Marlene) of Jasper, Bill (Barb), Ivan (Linda) both of Lethbridge; Sisters Beverly (Marvin) Ruttan of Campbell River B.C. and Bernice (Tom) Thompson of Picture Butte. Ken was predeceased by his parents Mike and Aino Orich, sisters Diane and Connie, brother Larry, niece Wanda and numerous aunts and uncles. Ken was born in Lethbridge on March 16, 1950. He married Pat, the love of his life on April 27, 1973. Ken had three wonderful children Jackie, Bryan and Brent. Ken was best known for his quick wit and ability to make everyone laugh. Ken was proud to provide for his family by working in the furniture moving business, which allowed him to travel coast to coast, where he met a lot of good friends along the way with his wife by his side. In his spare time Ken loved to golf, fish, help his sons renovate homes, paint pictures, write poetry and spend time with his grandchildren. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed help. Ken will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at Christensen Salmon Funeral Home (327 10th Street South, Lethbridge) on Saturday November 24, 2007 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of Christensen Salmon Funeral Home on Sunday, November 25, 2007 at 2:00 pm.
