Alicia Carlene Goad

Alicia Carlene “Sissy” Goad, 67, of Levelland, Texas went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 24, 2015. She passed in the comfort of her own home. Alicia was born on November 13, 1947 in Abilene, Texas to Carl R. Goad and Ruby Breeden. Alicia graduated from Levelland High School in 1966 and from South Plains College Nursing School in 1969. She began her nursing career at Cook Memorial Hospital-Levelland after completing the nursing program. She completed over 30 years with what is now Covenant Hospital Levelland. Alicia enjoyed scrapbooking, crafting, crocheting, reading novels, baking, cooking, and coloring with her great-nieces. She was also actively involved with Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of the George White district. She was a lover of all animals. Alicia’s faith was strong and she had a great love for the Lord and her family. Survivors include her sister, Leona Lambright and husband Jimmie of Levelland; nephews, Bryce Lambright and wife Amber of Lubbock, Jason Lambright and wife Kimberly of San Angelo; great-nieces, Samara, Sophie, Sadie, Briley Lambright and Madison York; great-nephews, Bryton and Kallen Lambright, Konnor Poole, and Clay York. Alicia is preceded in death by her father, Carl R. Goad in November of 1997, and her mother, Ruby Breeden in March of 1999. Services honoring Alicia will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at 10:30 AM at George Price Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland, Texas, with burial to follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 6:00-7:00 PM at George Price Funeral Home in Levelland.
