Alonso Estrada

Funeral services for Cesar Alonso Estrada, 13, of Levelland will be 10:00 am, Saturday, June 30, 2012 at South Plains Church, Levelland with Pastor Eddie Trice, officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, June 29, 2012 at George Price Funeral Home Chapel.

Alonso died on Sunday, June 24, 2012 in Chihuahua, Mexico.

He was born on May 28, 1999 in Lubbock to Cesar and Christina Estrada of Levelland. He attended Levelland Middle School and was going into the eighth grade. He enjoyed playing football and basketball. Alonso was heavily involved with his church, South Plains Church and Oneighty youth ministry. He was baptized in October of 2009.

His mother, Christina, joined him in death.

Alonso is survived by his father, Cesar Soto Estrada, his sister, Candela, his grandparents, Maria Plough of Levelland, Maria Soto Guerrero and Ubaldo Estrada of Mexico and numberous aunts, uncles and cousins.
