BILLY ODELL BEADLES - LUBBOCK-Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Billy Odell Beadles, 76, of Lubbock , Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at 2pm at Lake Ridge United Methodist Chapel. Our beloved husband, dad, brother and uncle went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014. Billy was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to W.O. and Ila Bell “Bugs” Beadles on April 13, 1937. He graduated from Levelland High School in 1957. He married the love of his life, Teena Smith, on December 19, 1964. He owned Beadles Body Shop in Lubbock until he developed Alzheimer’s Disease. He owned several race horses over the years, a passion that he shared with his entire family and always loved to dance. He was a member of Lakeridge United Methodist Church. Billy is survived by his wife, Teena; his daughter, De Ette Hines and her husband, Trey and grandchildren Grace, Georgia and Jackson, all of Chester, MD; brothers Teddy, Mickey and Tommy; a sister, Tammy Mc Donald and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to The Alzheimer’s Foundation or The Palliative Medicine Unit at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock.
