Bobbie L. Butner

Services for Bobbie L. Butner will be held at 10AM Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Park Drive Baptist Church in Levelland. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock. A visitation will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 3-5PM at the George Price Funeral Home in Levelland. Bobbie was born in Whitharral, Texas to David & Bobbie Mitchell on October 6, 1930. She married Glen Butner in October of 1948. Bobbie was a devoted member of Park Drive Baptist Church. She was the organist for Hodges and Park Drive for over 50 years and also taught Sunday School and VBS. Bobbie was a home-maker and a farmer’s wife. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Bobbie is survived by her son, Gary (Glenda) Butner of Lubbock; daughter, Shirleen Huckeby of Sundown; 2 sisters, Juandell Wade of Santa Fe and Shirley (Bob) Grant of Levelland; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Her radiant heart, compassionate love and giving spirit left a mark on each us. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Park Drive Baptist Church, P.O. Box 353, Levelland, Texas 79336.
