Brittney DaLayne Granger

Funeral services for Brittney DaLayne Granger, 27, of Midland and formerly of Sundown will be held today February 5, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the Sundown School Auditorium with Scott Parrish, officiating. Burial will follow in the Sundown Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, February 4, 2014

She passed away Saturday February 1, 2014 in Odessa. She was born August 3, 1986 in San Antonio Texas to Benny and Shana Granger. She attended Sundown High School, Texas Tech and Lubbock Christian University and received her Masters degree from Angelo State. Brittney was an avid golfer playing on the Lubbock Christian College golf team. She was a sports fanatic and Texas Tech's number one fan. She was proudly employed by Baker Hughes. Brittney was passionate about life and was a role model in her family particularly for those younger than her.

Brittney is survived by her parents, Benny and Shana; her “Bubba”, Brady Wes Granger; fiancé, Jay Manning; maternal Grandmother, Danella Chrane; paternal grandfather, Bob Granger; and numerous aunts, uncles cousins, many many friends and the Red Raider Nation. She was preceded in death by her “Poppo” Richard Souter and “Grannie” Ora Stephens and “ Granny” Marybeth Granger and great grandparents: M D. and Kathryn Souter.
