Funeral services for Essie Gonzales Franklin, 42, of Levelland will be 2:00 pm, Monday, March 26, 2012 in George Price Funeral Chapel, Levelland with Reverend Robert Burns, pastor, First Assembly of God Church, Levelland. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home.The family will have a prayer service at the funeral home on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 6:00 pm. She died on Friday, March 23, 2012 in Levelland.

Essie was born on November 6, 1969 in Levelland to Gilbert and Andrea (Bustos) Gonzales. She was a lifelong resident of Levelland. She attended Levelland Schools. Essie was a member of First Assembly of God Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her three sons: Michael Franklin, Brandon Franklin and Levi Zapata all of Levelland; five brothers:

Gilbert Gonzales, Jr. of Dallas, Texas, Ernest Gonzales of Littlefield, Jamie Gonzales of Levelland, and Raymond Gonzales and Santiago Gonzales, both of Lubbock, Texas; and a daughter: Jeannie Gonzales of Lubbock, Texas and a granddaughter: Adelyn Franklin.
