Jo Ann Espino Cardiel

Funeral services for Jo Ann Espino Cardiel, 56, of Levelland will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Rev. Rudolfo Crasta, officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland, Texas. Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm, Monday, March 14, 2011. She died, Thursday, March, 10, 2011 at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas.

Born on August 29, 1954 in Ft. Stockton, Texas to Joe Aguilar Espino and Mary Lou Pena Espino, she graduated from Ft. Stockton High School in 1972. She attended Johnson's Beauty School in San Antonio, Texas.

She then attended college at the Idaho State University where she studied medicine. Jo Ann married Sergio M. Cardiel on August 10, 1974 in Ft. Stockton, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Levelland. Jo Ann was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Sergio M. Cardiel of Levelland Texas; two sons: Cain Espino Cardiel of Midland, Texas and Sesar Espino Cardiel of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two daughters: Jana Celisse Rodriguez of Sundown, Texas and Celinda Lou Rejino of Levelland, Texas; a sister: Frances Espino Gonzales of Midland, Texas; three grandchildren: Jonathon Cardiel G, Dekota Cardiel G

and Aden Ramon Berry.
