Funeral services for Jonathan David Charters, 19, of Levelland will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 28, 2012 in the George Price Funeral Home Chapel, with Chris Dennis and Rev. Michael Pigg, officiating.Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. He died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 in Levelland.

Born on August 11, 1993 in Levelland, Texas to Dusty and Kelley (Pigg) Charters. Jonathan attended and graduated from Levelland High School in 2011. He had worked at Good Will and also at Wal-Mart. Jonathan loved to play music as he was able to play several instruments. He also was a talented artist.

Survivors include his parents: Dusty and Kelley Charters of Levelland, a sister: Jalee Deeann Charters of Levelland, his grandparents: Johnny and Shirley Pigg of Levelland, Darlene Charters of Brownfield and Fred Ward of Levelland. He was preceded in death grandparents: Carolyn Ward and Howard Charters.
