Nancy Brown

Memorial services for Nancy Pace Brown will be held Thursday, July 9, 2015, at 2 PM at South Plains Church. A graveside service for friends and family will be held at the City of Levelland Cemetery on Thursday at 11 AM. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at George Price Funeral Home. Nancy passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015, in Lubbock at the age of 74. She was born to Cecil and Emilie Pace on August 5, 1940 in Clauene. She was preceded in death by her parents her sister, Susie Pace, and her brother-in-law Louie Ray Carter. She graduated from Levelland High School in 1958. She received a Bachelors Degree from West Texas State University in 1961, and a Masters Degree from Texas Tech University in 1968. Nancy was a teacher for Levelland ISD at Capitol and West Elementaries. She was also a volunteer for several organizations in Levelland, Lubbock, and Amarillo. Her daughter Susan, son-in-law Tarone, and granddaughter Ashlyn Salvato live in Amarillo. Granddaughter Alyssa Salvato lives in College Station. Her son Randy, daughter-in-law Andrea, and grandsons Zachary and Jaxon Brown reside in Snyder. Her sister Margie Carter lives in Lubbock, sister Sharon Lane and her husband Justin live in Levelland. Nancy was a loved friend, sister, Mom and Nana. She loved Jesus and was well-known for being kind, caring, and generous.
