Alfred Vasapolli, Sr.Alfred Vasapolli, Sr. was born on February 21, 1922 in Philadelphia, PA.Alfred was a longtime resident of Levittown, PA and an employee of Pitcairn Enterprises for 25 years. He passed away, peacefully at his daughter's home in North Carolina, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, May 28, 2017.Alfred is a decorated World War II veteran with 3 bronze stars. He served his country proudly.Alfred was also very involved with the DAV and the VFW, volunteering many hours of service to both of these organizations.Alfred is the beloved husband of the late Margaret.He is survived by his children, Alfred Vasapolli Jr. (Joey) of NJ, Sandy Jindra (Jerry) of OH, Ron Spinelli of VA, Valerie Brang (Larry) of (NC), Vincent Vasapolli (Mary) of NJ and Christopher Vasapolli (Diane) of PA.He is also surived by his 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, June 3, 2017, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Alfred's name to the local chapter of DAV or VFW.
