Born and raised in Kingston, PA, Alice moved to Levittown in 1955 with her beloved husband of 69 years, the late Andrew C. Herman. Together, they were among the first families to make Levittown their home. Alice cherished her family house, where she built a lifetime of memories over the next 70 years.
After raising her children, Alice worked as a Dental Assistant for more than 20 years, retiring at the age of 70. A woman of faith, she was a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Church and served as a member and delegate of the First Catholic Slovak Union (JEDNOTA).
Alice lived a vibrant and active life. She was an accomplished bowler, proudly achieving a high game of 278, and enjoyed traveling to tournaments with JEDNOTA. She also loved playing bingo, Scrabble, pinochle, and dominoes, as well as watching her favorite game shows. A talented piano player, she especially enjoyed her monthly Card Club with friends.
She is survived by four of her loving children, David, Kenneth (Jill), Janet, and Jill; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two special family friends: Marcia Peak and Janeen Gondek; and her best friend and constant companion, her granddog Sophie.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Verna and Charles Trusko; her brother, William Sukosky; and her eldest daughter, Andrea Hutt.
