Ann DeMatto

Ann S. DeMatto (nee Solko) of Levittown, died on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. Born in Coaldale, PA, Mrs. DeMatto has been a resident of Levittown since 1957 and was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Catholic Church in Levittown. She was employed with the State of New Jersey in the Division of Law in Trenton, NJ for over 17 years.In her retirement, Ann volunteered at the Peace Center of Bucks County and as a volunteer reading tutor at Clara Barton Elementary School in Bristol, PA.Mrs. DeMatto is the beloved wife of the late Bernard J. DeMatto and the loving mother of Antonia DeMatto, Alexandra Pezzillo (Glenn), Theodore DeMatto (Elizabeth) and Melanie DeMatto.She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren, Gabrielle Mavi and Nate Pezzillo and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ann's name may be made to Bucks County Association for the Blind, 400 Freedom Drive, Newtown, PA 18940.
