Barbara A. Sherry

Barbara graduated from Mastbaum Vocational-Technical High School and Helene Fuld College of Nursing. She worked at Ancora State Hospital as well as a couple of other healthcare facilities. She spent most of her career as a nurse manager with Camden County Health until her retirement. She was a very dedicated registered nurse; she worked countless hours every week to make sure her patients received the best care.

Cherished daughter of the late Walter T. and Marie C. Sutch (nee Klinger). Beloved wife of Howard W. Sherry. Loving mother of Kevin, Robert, and Stephanie Merulla (John). Loving grandmother of Allyson, Nicholas, Jay (Katie), Courtney (Steve), and a great-grandmother of 7. Dear sister of James Sutch and the late Jane Sutch.

A special thank you to her caregiver, Aneesah, and the Samaritan nurses.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM with a church service to follow at St. Mark's Church, 409 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn, New Jersey, 08107. A secondary viewing will occur Friday, April 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, Pennsylvania, 19056, followed by family eulogies, prayer, and the nightingale tribute. She will be laid to rest at 12:00 PM at Rosedale Memorial Park, 3850 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, Pennsylvania, 19020.
