

Camellio A. "Casey" DeValerio of Levittown died on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Attleboro Nursing Home. He was 89. Born in Derry Township, West Moreland County, PA, Mr. DeValerio has been a resident of Levittown since 1953 where he was an original homeowner and founding member of St. Michael the Archangel parish. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. DeValerio was employed with U.S. Steel for 39 years until retiring as a railroad engineer. He was an avid Phillies fan and also enjoyed bowling. Mr. DeValerio was a member of the American Legion Post #834, the VFW Post #6495 and the Knights of Columbus St. Joseph the Worker Council #4215, 3rd degree. He also enjoyed times spent at Camp Booze-n-Snooze in Cameron County, PA. Mr. DeValerio was the beloved husband of Marie (Dallara) DeValerio for 69 years. He was the loving father of David A. and his wife Cindy DeValerio of Levittown and Susan M. Frederick of Levittown. He was the devoted grandfather of Ryan and Kyle Frederick and Matthew DeValerio. He will also be missed by his brothers Joseph (Toni), George (Cecile) and Herman (the late Betty) DeValerio and his sisters Mary Ferrero (Jim) and Roseann Simpson (Harry) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Tony and Ted DeValerio. Family and friends may attend his viewing on Wednesday from 9 until 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
