Born in Philadelphia on June 29, 1937, Carol was the daughter of the late Albert Paul and Helen Keller. She was one of eight daughters.
Carol retired from Cenlar Mortgage Company in Trenton, New Jersey at the age of 77.
Carol loved animals, especially her cat Lily. She loved feeding the squirrels and walking around the neighborhood. Carol was known for making candy apples to hand out on Halloween. She was a good cook and enjoyed baking. Her favorite pastime was gambling in Atlantic City.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, John M. Bilbow, Sr. who passed away in 1995, and also by her loving sisters, Alberta Patricia (Patsy) Keller, Helen Sullivan (Denny), Kathryn Joan Remaily (Ken), Virginia Hines (John), Dolores Mercaldo (Vince).
Carol was the mother of four children, John M. Bilbow Jr., Peggy Anderson (Bruce), Robert Bilbow and Theresa Coon (John). Carol was the loving grandmother to six grandchildren, Amber L. Kern (Larry), Rachel Motter (Brian), Michael Bilbow, Tara VanFraassen (Marc Hansell), Connor Bilbow, Aidan Bilbow and Amy Anderson.
Carol loved her great grandchildren, Isabella Spisso, Elizabeth Spisso, Lucas Spisso, Braxton Motter and Gabe Kern. She is survived by her loving sisters Mary Claire Foulke (Ed) Hopkins (Fred) and Gail Speakman (Len).
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056. Words of Remembrance will commence at 11:45 AM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
Carol will be laid to rest at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 1215 Super Highway, Langhorne, Pennsylvania 19047.
