

Carrie J. Colozza Carrie J. Colozza of Fairless Hills died on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Pickering Manor in Newtown. She was 98. Born and raised in Pittston, PA, Mrs. Colozza has resided in Fairless Hills for 60 years and was a founding member of St. Frances Cabrini parish. She worked for the garment industry before moving to Fairless Hills in 1955 and then worked for the Pennsbury School District for 30 years until retiring in 1979. Mrs. Colozza was a former member of the St. Joseph the Worker Sodality and the St. Frances Seniors. She was well known for baking her Italian cookies and cakes. She enjoyed sewing and making crafts and was a Philadelphia sports fan who also enjoyed bowling and watching NASCAR. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Colozza was the wife of the late Vincent J. Colozzo. She was the loving mother of Frank Colozza (Barbara) and Angela Coniglio (Salvatore) both of Levittown. She was the devoted grandmother of Vincent Colozza (Malinda), Michael Colozza (Karen), Andrea Ducko (Doug), Carmen Coniglio (Lisa) and Dana Donahue (Joe) and was the great grandmother of Michael, Amanda, Samantha, Sarah, Veronica, Danielle, Cody and Krista. Preceded in death by her siblings Charles and Joseph Schifano, Victoria Tirone, Josephine Hyjek and Patrina Schifano, she is survived by several nieces and nephews. and her faithful pets Sparkey and Ruffus. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Rd., Fairless Hills, PA 19030 where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m Rite of Committal will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Frances Cabrini Church.
