Born and raised in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, Mrs. Wolset was also a resident of Bristol, the Pocono Mountains area and Levittown.
Catherine was employed as a laundress in the hotel and lodging industry for 10 years before retiring. After retirement, she got to travel to many states to visit with her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She spent her retirement years at Grundy Gardens where she made many friends. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, building puzzles but most of all spending time with family.
She is the loving mother of John and Nancy. She will also be sadly missed by 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Wolset; her children, Steven, Dorothy and Joseph Jr.; and her brothers, Paul and Bill Lahner.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, where her funeral mass will celebrated at 10:30 AM. The Rite of Committal will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 1215 Super Highway, Langhorne, Pennsylvania 19047.
