Charles F. "Charlie" Gegenheimer of Langhorne died on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at his home. He was 83. Born in Philadelphia, Charlie has been a resident of Bucks County for many years. Charlie was a Veteran of the Korean War and former employee of Penn Fruit and SEPTA. Beloved husband of Betty (Kealey), he is the loving father of Michelle Gegenheimer- Eldridge (Ed) and grandfather of Brianna A. Eldridge. Charlie is the brother of Dolores Marchese (Paul) and brother-in-law of Sissy, Mary, Tootsie, Fran (Donna) and Diane (Tony) and the late Jimmy (Theresa) and Kathleen. He is also survived by his godchildren Debbie Hamon (John), Paul Marchese (Sue) and Kevin Kealey (Michelle), cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call from 9 until 11 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Beverly National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ephrem Catholic School, 5340 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020 where Charlie was a former lunch monitor.
