Dolores Desloges

Dolores (Seyferhelt) Desloges, died peacefully on December 20, 2013 at Chandler Hall in Newtown, with her family at her side. She was 83. She was born and raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, PA. She later met Richard Desloges at a dance at Fort Dix NJ, and then shortly after they were married. They later moved to and resided in Levittown where they raised their family. She was a teachers aide with the Neshaminy School District where all the kids called her Mrs. D . Dolores loved to read novels and the Sunday paper. She also enjoyed caring for her cat, traveling and having lunch with her friends. This past year she celebrated her 60th Wedding Anniversary with her husband Richard, family and friends. Dolores is survived by her beloved husband Richard, daughter Deborah Mitchell, and son Michael, and his wife Tish. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jennifer, Ryan, Michael, Nicholas, Elaina and her 4 great grandchildren who called her Gigi . She will be sadly missed by her cousins, nieces, nephews, family around the country and her friends. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 8 pm. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dolores's name can be made to Chandler Hall Health Services, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, PA 18940.
