Elizabeth R. Januszka

Elizabeth R. "Betty" Januszka died on Thursday, March, 10, 2016 at Wood River Village. She was 83.Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mrs. Januszka was a 1948 graduate of John W. Hallahan High School. She resided in Levittown for 25 years and Buckingham for 18 years before moving to Wood River Village three years ago.Betty retired from the Internal Revenue Service as Section Chief in the Examination Branch after 25 years of service.She was a former member of the Sultana's of the Alhambra Al-Fath Caravan #126.Beloved wife of the late Francis S., Mrs. Januszka was the loving mother of Eileen Ford (Terry), Kathleen Dodgin, Patricia Quinn, and Ted Januszka (Megan).She was the devoted grandmother of Rachel and Julia Ford, Sarah Dodgin, Randy and Stephanie Quinn and Dylan and Maura Januszka.Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 8:00 until 9:30 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5175 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown followed by Rite of Committal at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Inc. - Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
