Florence M. Otto

A devoted homemaker throughout her life, Flo dedicated herself fully to creating a loving and welcoming home. She was the heart of her family. Flo was always putting others first and offering a safe landing ground filled with laughter, kindness, and care.

Known for her incredible sense of humor and joyful spirit, Florence could always make you laugh—even on the hardest days. She loved dogs and enjoyed taking walks outside with her daughters. Flo poured love into everything she did. A master crocheter and talented crafter, she created countless handmade treasures that will be cherished for generations. Her skills in the kitchen were equally memorable; she was a great baker and cook whose meals brought comfort and joy to many.

But above all else, Florence’s greatest joy came from being surrounded by those she loved. She watched over her grandchildren with boundless affection and took pride in every moment spent with them. Her home was a place of warmth where laughter echoed often and love was always abundant.

She was the cherished mother of Florence A. (Dave), Patricia (James), Karen (Charles), and Robert (Rachel). Her legacy continues through her nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom lovingly called her "Mom-Mom"- a name that extended beyond family to friends and neighbors alike. She was also a beloved sister to Penny McBride.

Florence was predeceased by her husband, Robert Otto Sr., with whom she danced through marriage and family life. She was also preceded in death by her siblings William Reece Sr., Carol Lavin, Charlotte Colter, George Colter, Emily Fredricks, and Kathy Hee.

A viewing will be held on December 14, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with the funeral service beginning at 12:00pm, at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA. Burial to follow at Bristol Cemetery, 2519 Bristol Pike, Croydon, PA.
