Ida Steckroat of Levittown died on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at her home. She was 79.Born in Wilkes Barre, Mrs. Steckroat has been a resident of Levittown for the past 52 years.She worked as an aide at Pearl Buck Elementary School for many years until 2015.Beloved wife of Fred for 58 years, Ida is the loving mother of Mark (Leslie) of Flemington, NJ, Tom (Patti) of Langhorne and Greg (Tanya) of Taylor, MI and the devoted grandmother of Bryce, Payton, Ryan, Gracie and Adam.She is also survived by her sister Louise Grace of Reading,Family and friends are invited to call from 10 until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Emilie United Methodist Church, 7300 New Falls Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Church cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
