Irs R. Friedman of Levittown died on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Aria Hospital Bucks County. He was 75.Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Friedman has been a long time resident of Levittown.He worked for the State of New Jersey Department of Corrections and Internal Affairs for 30 years, retiring as Chief Investigator.Mr. Friedman was the beloved husband of the late Eileen M. (Wold) Friedman.He was the loving father of Elisa Dudek (Kyle) of Levittown and Rick Friedman (Ellen Eschenfelder) of Lansdowne.He was the devoted grandfather of Jacon, Mya and Reese Dudek.He will also be missed by his brother Neil Friedman (Amanda) and sisters-in-law Marcia Friedman and Bonnie Carosiello.He was preceded in death by his son Scott Friedman and his brother Gerald Friedman.Family and friends are invited to call from 12 noon until 1 p.m. on Thursday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment is private.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
