John Charles ClarkJohn Charles Clark, "Jack" "Butch", 65, born in Pottsville, PA in 1950, passed away on February 22, 2016, at Taylor Hospice Residence in Ridley Park, PA.He was the son of the late John and Ethel Clark; beloved husband of Pamela (nee Barbato) whom he shared many years of marriage; survived by his sons John (Valerie), William (Michelle), Philip (Lauren), and grandchildren Gabriel, Rory, Lukas, Caden, and Mariabella; sister Anne Melick (Robert) and predeceased by brother Thomas. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Joanne, Sandy and Sandy and many nieces and nephews.He was employed as a crane operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 542 for 25 years. Subsequently, he worked for the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia as the director of operations. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Child in Wilmington, DE.Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and on Friday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the Church of the Holy Child; 2500 Naamans Road, Wilmington, DE 19810, where John's funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA, 19064.Donations can be made in John’s memory to the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia, 609 S. Convent Road, Aston, 19014.
