

James was born and raised in Sugar Notch, PA. He attended Kings College for 2 years before entering the Army in 1963. After serving at Fort Meade, Maryland for 3 years, James returned to Pennsylvania and moved to Bucks County in 1967. That same year, he married Anna Janowski. While working full-time and starting a family, James took classes at night and earned his degree in Accounting from Rider College. James had a long and distinguished career working at IBM in Dayton, NJ for over 25 years in various Accounting positions.
James was a devoted husband and dedicated father whose joy and purpose was to provide for his family. He enjoyed Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles and Phillies. He loved planting and working in his garden, relaxing at a lake in the Pocono mountains, and visiting Disney World with his family.
James is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anna (Janowski), and his children, James John and Denise. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary (Trudnak) Czarnecki, and his brothers John (Jack), Francis (Red), and Anthony (Tony).
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday September 4, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at Saint Frances Cabrini, 325 S Oxford Valley Rd, Fairless Hills, PA 19030.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am. Burial with Military Honors will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Hulmeville Road, Bensalem immediately following.
