Jean F. McGhee

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mrs. McGhee has resided in Levittown since 1978. She worked as an aide at Hand and Orthopedic in Levittown for 10 years. She also worked in the credit department at Sears and Roebuck for many years.

Mrs. McGhee enjoyed gardening and crafts. She was very active within the Pennsbury School District for many years serving on the P.T.O. at Walt Disney Elementary School and with the marching band at Pennsbury High School.

Beloved wife of William F. for 49 years, Mrs. McGhee was the loving mother of Scott W. McGhee (Kimberly) and devoted Granny of Nolan, Evan, Blake, Christopher and Jace.

Jean was the sister of James Chaffinch and Mary Louise Vacca and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by David (Sandi), Chris (Jamie) and Brittney (Dave) whom considered her their second mother.

Family and friends are invited to call from 12 until 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 14th at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.
