Jeanette B. Gavet

Born in Bolivar, Ohio, daughter of the late Ruth (Lenarz) and Harry Davis, Mrs. Gavet has been a resident of Montgomery County for the past 30 years.

A very strong-willed and independent woman, she worked as a medical office manager at Wissahickon Orthopedic Center for 25 years.

She loved her dogs, Max, Rascal and Maxie and enjoyed sitting in her gazebo, next to her pond, drinking a good glass of wine.

Beloved wife of the late Lee D. Gavet, she is the loving mother of Michael L. Schilling (Carol), Eileen R. Prasky (Philip) and Brian J. Schilling (Traci) and their father, Leo F. Schilling.

Mrs. Gavet is the devoted grandmother of Lisa Beck (Robert), Jessica Sundling (Brian), Stephanie Schilling (fiance, Tim Pettijon), Ashley Degen (Justin) and Jonathon Prasky (fiancee, Kelly Turzanski); proud great grandmother of Nicholas, Jolene, Leah, Brayden, and Jase; and the dear sister of Julia Williams (Earl).

She will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and extended family.

She is predeceased by her great grandson, Colton; brothers, Frank, Jack and Jeff Davis.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
