Joan L. Laird Joan L. Laird died surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 24, 2015 at her home. She was 78. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Mrs. Laird was a resident of Levittown since 2002 and was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish. She was a customer service manager for many years with paint and dye manufacturing. Mrs. Laird loved gardening and going out to dinner with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling. She is the beloved wife of 32 years to Roy A. Laird. Mrs. Laird is the loving mother of Colleen Tayara, Christie Cassel, Christian Cassel (Lisa), Shannon Havner (Jerry), Derek Cassel and Heather Cassel. She will also be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Addie Knowles; brother and sister-in-law,Ken and Sandy Laird; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Harry Knowles; mother Anne Knowles; and brother, Harry Knowles. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will be held privately.
