He was born in Philadelphia, PA and was a Bucks County Resident most of his life. John was a member of Immaculate Conception Church before they merged with Queen of the Universe. He served as a church sexton and volunteered as member of the Pre-Cana Team.
John was an office manager at Day and Zimmerman for over 25 years. He also enjoyed being a scouting dad with BSA. On many occasions, his house served as "Party House" for many gatherings with family and friends. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
Survived by his wife of 62 years, Elaine (Meyers) White; his children, Michael White and his wife, Charity, Katie Rubinstein-White and her husband, Jason Rubinstein, Charles White, Anne White and her husband, Peter Eschelman; his grandchildren, Emmie White, Aidan Meister, Torrin Williams, Alistair White, Gavin White and Benjamin Rubinstein.
Memorial gathering will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Queen of the Universe, 2442 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056 with a Mass at 10:30 a.m.
Burial of cremated remains will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in John's memory to Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.
