

Joseph M. Gursky, Jr. Joseph M. Gursky, Jr. died suddenly on Monday, July 21, 2014 at his home. He was 58. Born in Bristol and raised in Levittown, the son of the late Rosemary (Rainis) and Joseph M. Gursky, Sr., he has been a resident of Bensalem since 1995. Joe was a 1974 graduate of Bishop Egan High School. Until retiring in 2012, Joe was a management and operations analyst in the Human Resource Development Institute for the State of New Jersey for 25 years. He was a US Navy veteran and loved Ford Mustangs and collected sports cards. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and loved his cats. Joe is survived by his wife Cheryl G. (Gerace), his siblings Cynthia, David, Mark (Christine), Rich Gursky and Lynn Harper (Joe). He will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his friend Lola Affleck. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon. Interment will be held privately in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
