Joseph M. Trapani of Fairless Hills died on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Manor Care Nursing Home. He was 96.Born in New York City and formerly of Lattintown, NY, Mr. Trapani has been a long time resident of Lower Bucks County.He was employed as a sales representative with Western Publishing for many years until retiring.Mr. Trapani was an Army veteran of World War II.He was a member of the Falls Township Senior Center for many years.Mr. Trapani was the husband of the late Catherine Trapani.He was the loving father of Duane Trapani (Terry), Barbara Deviney, Martin Beirn (Suzanne) and William Beirn (Dale).He was the devoted grandfather of Anthony Trapani (Amy), Nicole Bachman (Charlie), Lorraine Clark (Stephen), Krisy Baron (Brett), the late James Rhein Jr. (Michelle), Katie Newbon, Stephanie Beirn and William Beirn (Danielle) and will also be missed by several great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.Family and friends are invited to call from 10 until 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Falls Township Senior Center, 282 Trenton Road, P.O. Box 26, Fairless Hills, PA 19030 or any charity of the donor's choice.
