Karyn Kay Andrews (nee Proffitt)

After a brief battle with cancer, Karyn left this world and is now healed, resting comfortably in the arms of her Savior. Anyone who knew Karyn knew of the unwavering faith that she had. She loved and served her family and friends so well. She had a heart for the hurting and was one of the most compassionate people to ever walk this earth.

She is survived by her loving husband Al, her beloved children, Stephanie Connolly, Kristina Moschitti (Anthony), Al Andrews, and Becky Wright (Bill). Her favorite title to have was “Gam” to her precious grandchildren whom she lovingly referred to as “her babies”: Logan, William, Olivia and Kolton, and her bonus granddaughters Anna and Claire and bonus great- grandson Holden, her mother Marjorie Proffitt, and sister Cheryl Kolling (John). She was preceded in death by her father George Proffitt, sister Robyn Price and her in- laws, Al & Naomi Andrews. She was Aunt Karyn/Aunt KK to many nieces and nephews and loved by many extended family members. She will be sorely missed by her “Charlies Angels”, Kelly and Omega.

She faithfully attended and served at Bethel Church for almost 30 years and touched the lives of many. She served as a youth group leader for many of those years and poured into teenage girls to have a fire for God that none of them will forget. It brought her so much joy to watch the girls grow and flourish into amazing women who love the Lord. She was passionate about her faith and living that faith out each day.

Family and friends are invited to her viewing at Bethel Church, 903 Franklin Mills Cir, Philadelphia, PA 19154, on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and again on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the church. Her funeral service will take place 10:30am, and she will be laid to rest following the service at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Rd, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006.
