She was quite a woman, she worked hard, kept her family close and enjoyed life. As I remember she knew how to use a needle and thread.  when she was well she enjoyed breakfast out on Sat. am and kept up with the family news that way.  Such great memories to store in ones heart.  May our Lord hold you close and give you peace.  I had a medical procedure today and won't be able to make the trip tomorrow, but will keep all of you  in prayer

We always talked about sewing she had great ideas for new projects. You never hesitated to ask the hard questions and you had my back more than once. "God love ya!"

Today I lost one of the best women in my life, a role model, a strong yet stubborn woman, one of my best friends and the best grandmother anyone could ever ask for. You helped my single mom raise me, therefore you were a second mother to me. You taught me so much about life and what family means. You always shared stories from your past that I loved hearing about. I am forever grateful to you for watching Haily when she was little and making her so smart. It's sad that Blakeleigh won't get to grow up and know you as well as we have, but I have videos and pictures of the two of you together that I will share with her when she is older. I was there when you took your last breath this morning and I am happy I was there to witness you pain free and letting go. You lived an awesome 94 years of life but now it's time to spend time with pappy. I miss you more than you'll ever know. I love you so much Grammie ❤ You always have and always will mean the world to me ❤

We are so blessed to have known such a wonderful woman.  She was always there to listen and to give advice with open arms and a huge heart. I will always treasure our trips to the cabin where we spent many hours talking. I will miss you dearly, Gram.  Your hard work is done.  May you rest now in the Lord's arms. 

Gram was a force to be reckoned with. She was always there for me no matter what I needed or wanted to talk about. She was great at giving advice & wagging her finger in your face if she didn't like something you said. She loved to babysit us & our kids she was an awesome seamstress. (I need her back for custom seat covers for my truck. Lol). Gram you will be missed and always in my heart. Love you to the moon and back. It's an honor to be your granddaughter. Have a blessed eternal life with Pappy.

She was the most loving, caring and supportive grandmother anyone could of asked for. I will cherish all the memories and will miss her very much. I am so grateful and proud to of known her and to be her granddaughter.  

Spent many years with Aunt Kate. Like a second mom. Will miss her. A force not to be underestimated.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Schreckengost family. Katherine was a beautiful person and she will be missed by her family and friends.
