

Ken was born in Trenton, NJ, son of Richard Hartman and the late Janet (Crawford) Hartman. Ken grew up in Yardley, resided in Levittown for the past 8 years, and Newtown for 17 years prior.
Ken was a 1986 graduate of Pennsbury High School where he lettered in golf for 3 years. He was a 1992 graduate of Rider University where he was involved with the theater department and had his own theater company, After Image productions. Ken became a member of the Catholic faith at St. Andrew Parish, Newtown, and was most recently a member of Queen of the Universe Parish, Levittown.
Ken was employed with the State of New Jersey for 19 years as a Pensions Benefits Specialist. He traveled throughout New Jersey giving dynamic seminars on pensions and benefits.
Ken was an avid golfer with his best round being a 72. He loved all genres of music, going to concerts and movies, and watching both professional golf and the Philadelphia Phillies. His friends will remember him as possessing a wealth of knowledge on a variety of topics.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years Maureen J. (Kenney); his brothers-in-law Michael Kenney (Jennifer), Brien Kenney (Cheryl); and his nieces and nephews Jake, Gavin, Jordan, Hope and Aidan Kenney.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and again on Friday, August 23, 2019, from 8:45 until 9:45 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Friday, at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, followed by the Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery, 5201Hulmeville Road, Bensalem.
