

CW 4 (Retired) Kenneth M. LangerCW 4 (Retired) Kenneth M. Langer died on Monday, June 19, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 81.Mr. Langer was born in Trenton, NJ, formerly of Ewing, NJ, and has been a resident of Fallsington for the past 24 years. He graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1954 and was also a graduate of Trenton State College.He proudly served his country in both the US Air Force and the US Army, obtaining the rank of CW 4 in 1986. Mr. Langer retired in 1996 after 42 years of service to his country. Mr. Langer spent his career working as a Financial Officer with the US Property and Fiscal Office in Lawrenceville, NJ.He also spent many years as a volunteer with the New Jersey State Museum. During his time there he went to the Midwest on fossil hunting trips and proudly gave demonstrations to school children about fossils and fossil preparation.He was a master scuba diver and thoroughly enjoyed diving in the Caribbean. He also enjoyed woodworking and took pride in working around the house.His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and his grandchildren were his pride and joy.Beloved husband of 24 years to Carol Ann (Browning), Mr. Langer is the loving father of Dawn Nemeth, Nancy Phillips and Charles (Chuck) Nemeth, Jr.He is the devoted grandfather of Stephanie Schlessinger (Brandon), Kennith Nemeth and Penelope Nemeth.Mr. Langer was predeceased by his father, Michael Langer and his mother Constance (Albert Emmanuel).Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA, where his funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
