Louise M. Coyle

Louise M. Coyle, fondly known as Greta or Nan to many, of Levittown PA, passed away on Thursday February 19, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was 81. Born in Pottsville, PA she grew up in Mary D. PA where she attended Tamaqua High School. Louise worked as a cook in both Pennsbury and Council Rock school districts until retiring in 2011.

Louise and her husband Bob, shared a passion for music which they passed down to their children and grandchildren. Louise loved the outdoors, especially the Pocono mountains where she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a lover of all animals and will be missed by the birds, squirrels, and bunnies that she fed from her back porch. In addition to her children, Louise was a caring mother to the family’s four dogs who had a special place in her heart. Every holiday was spent in her home with the beautiful family her and her husband built, enjoying her delicious meals.

She will be remembered by her family as a selfless, devoted, wife, mother and grandmother. She was just as spirited and witty as she was patient and kind.

She is predeceased by her parents, Ambrose and Helen , her siblings, Stephen, Teresa and Frances and her son-in-law Christopher.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Charles (Bob) Coyle, her sister Rose, her daughter Kimberly Reid, her sons Robert Coyle (Carolyn), and Jeffery Coyle and her grandchildren Katie Reid (Tyler), Mackenzie Reid (Luke) and Kevin Coyle.

A Celebration of her life Life will be held at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., located at 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, Pennsylvania, 19056, on February 26, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with the family eulogy starting at 6:30 pm.

Her visitation is scheduled for February 27, 2026, from 8:30 am to 9:25 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, PA, 19030. The Funeral Mass will follow at the same location on February 27, 2026, beginning at 9:30 am.
