

Born in Bastia, Corsica, France, Mrs. Ansbro has been a resident of Levittown for the past 68 years. She was employed with Amtrak for 18 years until her retirement in 1993. She was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish and Union des Français de l'Etranger and was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus.
As a young child, she was part of the French Resistance in Marseille during the German occupation.
She is the loving mother of Patrick George-Paul Ansbro of Levittown and James Timothy Ansbro of Newtown.
Mrs. Ansbro is also survived by her grandchildren, Kiley Edith-Marie Ansbro and Brice Timothy Ansbro; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ansbro was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, James P. Ansbro; brothers, George and Simon Vannelli; and sister, Danielle Micaletti.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00 pm. The Rite of Committal will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
