Mary A. Connolly

Mary A Connolly (née Schmidbacker), age 101, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, September 25th, 2018. Husband of the Late Edward F. Connolly, she is survived by her 3 loving children, Joan M. Bush, James J. Connolly (Mary Katharine) and Maryanne T. Clarke. Mary is also survived by 4 wonderful grandchildren, Justin (Laura), Tommy, Lindsay and Katie; 2 handsome great grandsons, Gavin and Ryan and her sister, Teresa Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary and a sister, Dorothy Tidd.Mary at 101 lived a wonderful life, full of love and caring. She was known for her wit and humor, with her little remarks right up to the end. She was always making people laugh and then laughing herself at what she had said. She was amazing. Mary loved to roller skate in her younger years and would always talk about those days and also where she worked and lived. We have been tremendously blessed to have her all these years. A special Thank You to Arden Courts Yardley, Attleboro Skilled Nursing, and Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care and support you provided to our Mother.Family and friends are invited to call from 10 until 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA), 322 8th Ave, 7th floor, New York, NY 10001.
