She was 75.Born in Pottstown, PA, Mrs. Horton was a longtime parishioner of the former Immaculate Conception Parish, where she served as an Eucharistic Minister.She was a Third Order Franciscan, Saint Bonaventure Fraternity.Mrs. Horton held various jobs throughout her life; Administrative Assistant at Rohm and Haas and she also worked at Bucks County Courier Times. She was an avid reader and she also enjoyed sewing.Beloved wife of the late John E., Mrs. Horton was the loving mother of Michael S. (Sandy), Colleen M. Matulis (Steven), Virginia D. Krause (John), Padraic J. "Pat" and Sandra E. Pellegrino (Scott).She was the devoted grandmother of 10: Sean, Nathan, Tessa, Taylor, Nicole, Joseph, Abigail, John, Tabitha and Bailey.Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 9:30 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
