Miriam S. Griesemer died on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 98. Born in Philadelphia, she has been a resident of Yardley since 1967 and was a member of Saint Ignatius Church. Mrs. Griesemer enjoyed sewing, bingo and especially loved playing cards and spending time in the Poconos with her family. Beloved wife of the late Carl J. and grandmother of the late Tommy Erb, Mrs. Griesemer is the loving mother of Miriam J. Weisinger (Glenn) of Yardley and Jill E. Erb (Thomas) of Levittown. She was the devoted grandmother of Shelli Ann Rearden, Scott A. Weisinger and JuliAnn Boldt and the proud great grandmother of Amanda and Ryan Rearden, Katarina and Brendan Weisinger, Christian, Mitchell and Alexander Boldt and Hank Erb. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 6:30 until 8:30 pm and on Friday, from 9:30 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Saint Ignatius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in her name be made to a charity of donor's choice.
