

Phyllis H. Corliss died on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the home of her son, Rick in Levittown. She was 80. Born in Milan, NH, the daughter of Marjorie (Tompkins) and Lewis Hawkinson, she was a resident of Middletown Township having resided in Lower Bucks since 1956. Mrs. Corliss was an active member of the Bristol Township Senior Center and was involved in many volunteer activities through the center including meals on wheels. One of her favorite "activities" with the center was traveling with her fellow members. She was an avid Phillies fan. Mrs. Corliss was an employee with C.W. Industries of Lower Southampton until her retirement. Loving mother of Frank and his wife, Marilyn of Pipersville and Richard and his wife, Patti of Levittown, Mrs. Corliss was the devoted grandmother of Kierney Corliss and her husband, Erik Regul, Trystan Corliss, Rob and Al Smith and the great grandmother of Lily Corliss-Regul and Christiena Corliss. She will also be sadly missed by her sisters, Jennie Brown of Gorham, NH, Betty LeBlanc of New Brunswick, Canada, Alice Swan of Ontario, Canada, her brother, Archie Scott of New Brunswick, Canada and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will held at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery. The family has requested that Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Bristol Township Senior Center, 2501 Bath Road, Bristol, PA 19007.
