Phyllis R. GuzzardoPhyllis R. Guzzardo (nee Sparacino) of Levittown, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Langhorne Gardens Nursing Home in Langhorne. She was 89.Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and formerly of Staten Island, NY, Mrs. Guzzardo has been a resident of Levittown for the past 40 years. She was a former member of both the Middletown Seniors and the Red Hat Society, and was a parishioner of Queen of the Universe Parish. For the last few years, Mrs. Guzzardo had attended Shanti Gardens Adult Day Care in Levittown.In her younger years, she enjoyed baking, cooking and would love to sing.Mrs. Guzzardo is the beloved wife of the late Paul. She is the loving mother of Paula Bragg (Russ) and Michael A. Guzzardo; the devoted grandmother of Jason, John Paul, Andrew, and Samantha; and proud great grandmother of : Brianna, Michael and Joella.Mrs. Guzzardo will also be sadly missed by her dear sister, Eve Sparacino, many nieces, nephews and cousins.Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm and on Friday, from 9:30 until 10:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 am.
