Raymond was born in Philadelphia, to parents, Raymond and Marie Lieb. He graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School in 1981. Ray continued his education majoring in music at Temple University before beginning his career in banking. Seeing a need for technology development in the banking industry, he taught himself the skills needed to fulfill those needs as a software developer. Ray went on to start his own business, Legato Software Corporation that he ran successfully for more than 25 years.
Raymond had a number of varied interests. He loved science and technology and was always knowledgeable on new and exciting discoveries and events. Ray also loved to cook and he was GREAT at it! His family will miss his fabulous holiday meals. Playing the clarinet in grade school sparked his love of music, especially classical, which stayed with him throughout his life. Raymond also loved animals, especially cats and they loved him right back!
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Raymond Lieb.
Raymond is survived by his siblings, Cindie Lieb, Jacquie Fallon, Francis Lieb (Cherryl) and Judie Lieb and all his nieces and nephews. He will also be greatly missed by his dear friend Jane Shirk.
