Born on May 14 in St. Lucia, Ricardo brought his vibrant spirit and unwavering work ethic to every aspect of his life. An accomplished architect and project manager, he built a career that spanned over 30 years, contributing to numerous meaningful projects — including the design and construction of schools throughout the state of New Jersey, helping to create safe and inspiring learning environments for generations of children.
Ricardo was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Monica, and his cherished daughters, Nina and Meghan. He also leaves behind his faithful dog, Chancellor Duke, and his dear sisters Rosalyn Didier, Michelle Monrose, and Celeste Larcher, along with their families.
Known for his sharp wit, warmth, and remarkable ability to connect with people, Ricardo was a joy to be around—whether in professional meetings or casual conversations. He had a passion for soccer, took great pride in cutting his lawn, and found deep joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was a devoted fan of Kassav and Bob Marley, often filling the house with their vibrant rhythms and powerful messages—a true testament to his deep love for music and Caribbean culture. Above all, he was a God-fearing man whose faith anchored him through life’s trials and triumphs.
A viewing for Ricardo will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at St. Frances Cabrini, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030, followed by a funeral mass at 9:30 AM.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Didier; mother, Sylvia LeeYou Didier; and brothers, Ellery Didier and Dr. Martin Didier.
As he often quoted from his favorite film, Gladiator: “What we do in life echoes in eternity.”
Ricardo’s echo will be felt forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
