Robert Glenn Morris

Robert Glenn Morris Robert "Glenn" Morris died surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at his home. He was 72. Born in Chester, Glenn has been a resident of Levittown since 1967. He was a dedicated member of the Salvation Army, where he was awarded several awards for his volunteer work with them. Glenn was previously employed with US Steel, Fairless Works and RCA prior to becoming self employed for many years. A proud US Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War, Glenn was a member of American Legion Post 960 of Levittown. He was the beloved husband of Gerlinde "Lynn" (Wagner) and the loving father of Stephanie Pohle (the late Reiner), Vivian Wilcox (Robert Chamberlain) and John G. Morris. He was the devoted grandfather of Karl, Kristofer, Anna, Chelsea, Carley, Cassidy, Colton, Connor and John Jr. and the proud great grandfather of Isaiah and Karter. Glenn will also be sadly missed by his aunt, Margaret Sutton and his nieces Cindy Fallon and Tracy Foley. Famly and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 3:00 until 4:00 pm at the Salvation Army, 215 Appletree Drive, PO Box 824, Levittown, PA 19058, where his memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm. Friends are also invited to his interment service precisely at 11:30 am, on Monday, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Glenn's name to the Salvation Army at the above address, would be appreciated by the family.
