

Rosa Evola Rosa Evola died on Monday, December 31, 2012 peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 69. Born in Carini, Italy, she immigrated to America in 1970 and resided in Fairless Hills since 1985. She was a loyal homemaker and amazing mother who always was willing to sacrifice herself for her family. Mrs. Evola loved to laugh and joke and had a natural ability to put a smile on anyones face. She was a tremendous cook whos recipes cannot be duplicated because she always cooked with her secret and unique ingredient of love. She was also an amazing poet who was known to write poetry as a way to bless family and friends and express her love and appreciation for them. Besides cooking and poetry, her passions included gardening, knitting, and playing Italian bingo (tombola). Mrs. Evola is the beloved wife of 42 years to Filippo Evola.She will also be sadly missed by her children Carmela Gulino (Salvatore Gulino), Peter Evola (Elizabeth Evola), and Sonia Moody. By her grandchildren, Carina, Bianca, Ethan, Isabella, and Jacob. Also, by her siblings Graziella, Anna, Salvatore, Gianni, Vito, Vincenza and their families. She was also preceded by death by her parents Giuseppe LoDuca and Rosalia Carciopolo LoDuca and her siblings, Rosalia, Caterina, and Giuseppina. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 3, 2013, from 6pm until 8pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown and on Friday,January 4, 2013, from 8:30 until 9:30 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 325 South Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Rite of Committal will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, NJ.
