Ruth Snyder Hunter

Ruth S. HunterRuth Snyder Hunter of Fairless Hills died on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Luther Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hatboro. She was 79. Born and raised in Hershey, PA, Mrs. Hunter was a 1954 graduate of Hershey High School.In the early 1960's she moved to Heightstown, NJ and then to Levittown in 1968 where she resided until moving to Fairless Hills in 1998.Mrs. Hunter spent her career as a proud homemaker raising her children and grandchildren.She loved animals, especially her rescue dogs Trevor and Reno. She also loved flowers and enjoyed some travel time driving to various destinations throughout the United States with her husband.Mrs. Hunter was the beloved wife of Dale L. Hunter for 60 years.She was the loving mother of Brenda Hunter Nunn and Deborah Hunter Junkin, D.M.D. (Andrew Bowen Junkin,D.M.D.).She was the devoted grandmother of Jason Nunn (Tanya), Daniel Read Junkin and Margaret Elizabeth Junkin and the great grandmother of Jaxon and Alexa.She is also survived by her niece Judy Mikos (Larry).Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 5:00 until 6:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm.
