Ruth S. LyonsRuth S. Lyons died on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Twining Village in Holland. She was 67.Born in Wilson, NC, she was a Lower Bucks County resident for the past 15 years.Until her retirement in 2008, Mrs. Lyons was a Registered Nurse at Aria Health Bucks Campus for 10 years.Beloved wife of the late Raymond E., Mrs. Lyons was the loving mother of Robert G. (Barbara) and the devoted grandmother of Angelina.She was the sister of Douglas Thompson (Jean), Claude Thompson (BettyAnn), Becky Medlin (Harold) and the late Edward Thompson (Linda).Mrs. Lyons will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins.Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 8:00 am until 9:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 9:00 am. Intermen will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Lyons name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
